Browns Colt McCoy, Cabbage and the Dance!

Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy has been receiving a lot of press these days as there is little to write about other than the quarterback competition in Cleveland that has the necessary ingredients for such a soap opera. Yes, sports writers are sharpening their pencils--scratch that--waxing their keyboards in anticipation of having to break the news, in lightning fashion mind you, when the moment arrives--the moment McCoy is no longer a Brown!

Hey, it's Friday and a little humor never hurt anyone, so we will set aside the arguments for and against McCoy--you know, the weak arm, receivers and of course the "who was gonna catch the ball" scenario. As the masses believe McCoy is done with the Browns I thought I would share this Pic with you---pretty much sums up the opinion of most.

Cabbage--the Cabbage Patch Dance:

Now, it isn't like I live under a rock or anything but frankly I have never heard of such a thing. What shocked me the most was reading that Webster Slaughter--yes, the Webster Slaughter of the Browns would often, this of course after scoring a touchdown "coolly drop into his Cabbage Patch TD Dance"-really? Well, this sort of thing requires research:

From the Urban Dictionary:

"Dance move that white guys tried to have catch on to confuse women into thinking that white guys have rhythm. Successfully performed when both your shoulders and fists (which are placed together in a manner that looks like you just connected both ends of an extension cord) move in time with each other in a fluid, circular motion. All the rage in the late 80's and early 90's."

I had a vision, a vision of Browns Stadium rocking as fans did the Cabbage Patch Dance, possibly 4 or 5 times--scratch that--maybe once a game!! After searching fiercely for at least 5 minutes for a video of Slaughter doing the dance--I failed--But wait! I found a wonderful example--by an instructor I might add, to share with those Browns Fans that wish to be prepared this season. Study it Folks and be prepared when we hopefully score those TD's.
