Browns Trent Richardson back-tracking on Jim Browns comment?

Trent Richardson of the Cleveland Browns changing his tune? A very interesting article over at NBC Sports suggesting that Richardson has become a little more respectful of Jim Brown after Brown made the statement that he (Richardson) was ordinary. The article also states:

If nothing else, Richardson’s back-tracking might make it easier to get Brown back on board, and end his estrangement from the franchise with which he shares a name.

Evidently news related to the Browns is so thin at this time that writers are really reaching into "no mans land" in an attempt to gather something news worthy. Suggesting that when Richardson was interviewed about Browns statement of him being ordinary and  his response was less than respectful is a true "reaching for the stars".

Asked about the criticism Brown pointed his way during the draft process, which included “I don’t see anything outstanding about him,” Richardson shrugged it off.

“To me, I laugh at the situation,” Richardson said. “In my head, that means I have a lot of work to do. I still do. Cleveland, never having won the Super Bowl, hopefully, I can be one of the guys to be on a Super Bowl team in Cleveland. I have big shoes to fill. It’s just a lot of motivation.

If being less than respectful is defined simply as laughing at the situation the numbers of those "disrespectful" to Jim Browns statement is enormous! Richardson goes furthur to state:

“I don’t dislike Jim Brown for the comments. He’s pushed me to the limit … made sure he gets everything he can out of me.”

To imply that Richardson is "backtracking" and "sounding a more respectful note" is well--way out in left field. Frankly and with respect to Jim Brown, Richardson just doesn't care:

“Trent’s got thick skin,” Weeden said. “It doesn’t matter what anybody says. Trent doesn’t worry about it, I can promise you that. All you have to do is turn on the tape from Alabama to see what he did. He was a special player down there.”

So, Richardson stateing that he doesn't dislike Brown along with saying that he has a lot of work to do and Brown "made sure he gets everything he can out of me" is back-tracking? Back-tracking from what?
