Former Cleveland Browns fullback Lawrence Vickers, now of the Dallas Cowboys had to leave the field during organized team activities Wednesday due to--Fire Ants in his pants. Yes, the powerful Fullback was "freaking out", slumped over and had to leave the field due to being under attack by these pesky little critters so common in Texas.
Slumped over and leaving the field as if he was injured Vickers felt a "stinging sensation" below the waist.
"Fire ants got in my pants," Vickers said. "I was freaking out. Oh, ants!"
This is not Vickers first experience with Fire Ants as they have in the past made his neck swell and caused him to suffer from "wheezing" episodes. Vickers, being allergic to Fire Ants carries medication in case he encounters these little critters and gets stung.
